How to decorate uPVC Windows in Conservatories
Does your conservatory get too hot in the summer? Is your furniture getting faded from the glare of the sun? Or maybe you have wild birds flying into your windows leaving big marks. Here are a few suggestions to combat these problems.
Of course for most of us, the reason we have conservatories is so we can enjoy the sun. There are some days though when there is just a little bit too much sun shining on our conservatory and it gets too hot. The most common way to keep out the sunlight on these days is to use blinds in your conservatory. These come in a wide range of colours and styles to suit any size or shape of conservatory and can complement the decor of your room very nicely. They are a more attractive option than curtains as they are not prone to sun fading
Another good solution to the problem of glaring sun is windows films. No more will you have to get up every time the sun has moved and adjust the curtains. Window films can protect against the harmful UV rays of the sun and its heat by 82% without having to obstruct your view. They also reduce the amount of glare coming in which can be irritating if you like to watch television in your conservatory. Although blinds are an adequate solution to these problem they come with their own set of disadvantages including cleaning, obstructing your view and of course if you pull them up you are still putting your furniture at risk of sun fading.
Not a common problem with all conservatories, however some people can experience birds flying into their windows, which not only leaves nasty marks but is also not very good for the birds. A good way to remedy this is bird stickers. You can get these from most garden centres. All you have to do is place them on your windows in order to deter other birds. They can easily be removed without leaving any sticky marks.
