Making the Conservatory decision

Now the legalities are sorted out you can get onto the interesting bit…deciding how you want your conservatory to look.

Below are three initial questions you need to think about then you can carry on and use our step by step guide on the next page to create your dream conservatory.

Firstly consider what you will use all your extra space for?

Dining room, kitchen, office, storage, sitting room, play room, garden room, entertaining? Maybe you would like it as a non descript room that you can use as you please when you please.

Secondly how big do you want it to be?

This will obviously depend on space available, the purpose you want it to serve and budget available. We often have customers saying ‘I wish i’d gone for a larger conservatory’ so bear that in mind when making your decision.

Finally which direction do you want it to face?

On some homes you may not have many options on where to position your conservatory but if you do have a choice you need to decide if you want it South or South West facing, where you will receive sun most of the day, or North or North East facing where it will be cooler.
